Earlier today (18/2),Stein cited Walker’s agentand tweeted that the American swingman has decided to stay in Lithuania and make his return to the NBA next season. A few hours before the expiration of the NBA out in his contract on February 18, he ultimately agreed with theSixerson a $3 million, two-year deal. Walker spent three and a half months withZalgirisafter joining the team late in October.  He posted 13.6 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 22:17 minutes over 19 games in the EuroLeague while averaging 12.8 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 17:23 minutes through 10 Lithuanian League appearances. The Sixers will be Walker’s fourth NBA team after theSan Antonio Spurs, theLos Angeles Lakersand theBrooklyn Nets. While the Sixers are bringing another player from the EuroLeague to their roster after forward Guerschon Yabusele, Zalgiris loses one of its top contributors ahead of a crucial stretch for the team’s effort to make the EuroLeague postseason. The Lithuanian side is currently 12-14 and tied withAnadolu Efesfor 12th in the standings.
